One of our lovely community members shares a big job interview fail. And BOOM, Germany finally passed a bunch of new immigration laws, including the ability to come to Germany without a formal job offer and even work while you're looking for your new gig.

At the very start of my career, in my early 20s, I was looking for a job as an event planner, as I was a bit experienced previously. Once, I was at a job interview with one event company when they asked me about my experience. I told them everything and in the end, I lied a little bit about one hotel opening ceremony event. At that time I was working for that hotel and was nearby from the event. It happened that the hotel opening ceremony was held by the event company I was interviewing with. So, my lie had "short legs" and the moment was unforgettably embarrassing.
