Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent Saturday in Lubbenau, sampling the delicious Spreewald pickles and taking a lovely little boat ride. ⛵☀️
There's been actual progress on the immigration front, as the new proposed citzenship laws will be voted on by the Bundestag (Germany's parliament) this summer. Among some of the proposed changes are the ability to get German citzenship faster than before, an easier path to citzenship for children born to non-German parents in Germany, as well as the chance to obtain dual citzenship. The Deutschbahn is also taking some uncharasterically bold moves by allowing people to drop by their office at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof without an appointment. You can meet a Deutschbahn boss-person and see if there are any potential job opportunities there for you.
